The company headquarters is located in Heliopolis with a branch in Maadi.

Handheld & Barcode Solutions:
The
division for Handheld & Barcode Solutions has been in the market for
five years, with the aim of taking handheld applications to their fullest
potential in Egypt and the Middle East. The division focuses on usability,
reliability, and superior support. Solutions provided cover provision of
hardware, custom software, system integration, training, and supervision of
early implementation cycles, plus maintenance of hardware & software.
The division deals in a wide
range of world famous products:

Technologies. Datum is the only Gold Channel Partner of Zebra
in Egypt. Datum deals in Zebra barcode printers, barcode software, supplies
(labels & ribbons), accessories, and maintenance kits.
- Psion Teklogix. Datum is the Official Importer of Psion in
Egypt and a reseller for the Middle East. Solutions offered deploy the Psion
Workabout range of Enterprise Handheld Computers. Datum produces
custom software to run on the Workabout in both Arabic and English.

Seagull Scientific:
Datum is a reseller of the famous Bar Tender label printing software
that works with all well known printers.

Eltron PVC Card Printers.
Datum is a reseller of Eltron PVC card printers, software, supplies
(cards and colored ribbons), plus accessories and maintenance kits.

Cipherlab.
Datum is a reseller of Cipherlab Time & Attendance desktop barcode
readers. Datum has its own line of bilingual software for control of the
readers and production of management reports.

Opticon.
Datum is a reseller of Opticon laser scanners.

Extech:
Datum is a reseller of Extech mobile printing systems. The Extech receipt
printers are approved by Datum to work with the Psion Workabout range for
In the Field printing of Arabic & English receipts.
The
division has implemented a large number of very successful projects with some
of the biggest local and foreign establishments working in Egypt. Areas of
application include Utilities (Water & Natural Gas), Warehousing, Work in
Progress, Asset Tracking, Distribution, Barcode Printing & Reading, Time &
Attendance, and PVC Card Printing.
